I also have a Parrott or Parrett ancestor. Frederick Parrett b. 1715 France came to Virginia 1737. His daughter b. 1761 Mary Catherine Parrett m. 1 Jan 1785 to Phillip Fent. There was also a son Joseph Parrett in this line. I have seen the name spelled both Parrott and Parrett. Gary Hatcher
