Dee,

The Nez Perce tribe prior to the Nez Perce War, extended way beyond
Wallowa Valley, a narrow valley, all the way to Walla Walla, east to
Camas Prairie, west/southwest to Grande Ronde Valley, south to
Eagle Valley.
