Thanks to all of you who replied to my query about Oregon Death
Certificates.

I've learned of two good resources:

The Oregon State Archives in Salem will provide copies of Oregon Death
Certificates from 1903-1951, for a fee of $5.00 for Oregon residents and

$10.00 for out-of-state residents.  Directions can be found on their
website at:  http://arcweb.sos.state.or.us/reference.html

A private researcher in Salem will also provide the same service.  Send
an e-mail to him for a price quote.  His name is Lee Gentemann and his
