[or-roots] archives item

[Trudy and Wayne Kelsoe]

Listers,

I found an item in the Oregon Archives online genealogy records.  In
researching my husband's family a record that came up gave his great
grandfathers name, C.C. Kelsoe and the record type as "elector" for Lake
County.  Does this mean he was simply a registered voter or was there a
specific duty or office associated with the term?
