[or-roots] How did they get here; (from archive)

My great-grandparents, Charles Cupp Poling and Savilla Anna Kring,
jourrneyed from Greensburg, Ohio to Oregon in 1884 via railroad, ferry and a
skiff.  This according to an article written by their oldest child, Daniel
A. Poling, in 1955 and published in The Saturday Evening Post.  Nancy
