[or-roots] Snows, floods and storms

It was 1962 when the Columbus Day storm hit.  We had been hunting in the 
Blues and decided to spend a few days at the Worlds Fair in Seattle so drove out 
of the Blues at night in that windstorm.  It was not as fierce east of the 
Cascades as west but an adventure nevertheless
