As some of you know, I am not related to the Oregon Trail pioneering
Aiken(s) family of Roseburg, but have acquired some information about
them while researching my own Aikins family of Southern Oregon.

In the query included below, I do not recognize the George and Grace
Aiken of interest -- can anyone help Patti Jo?

Hi, I found you on the web when I did a search for Oregon families named
Aiken. I am not a relative but am trying to find historical info. I
manage The Palace Ice Cream Parlor in Sisters ,Or. Our building was
owned by George and Grace Aiken. He was originally from Baker, Or. The
article you replied to was regarding a Joseph Aiken who passed away in
Baker. We are trying to bring our building back to it's glory and are
looking for any info. or photos. I thought it wouldn't hurt to check out
everything! And this might lead someone else to a relative!! George was
prominent man in the community and we want to make sure his memory is
not lost. Thank You Patti Jo
