[or-roots] Re: book, "The Pioneer Campfire"

Since my posting about the book, "The Pioneer Campfire", I have received
several notes from list members asking if I could tell them more about
the book. The book was written by G.W. Kennedy, a pioneer of 1853, and
was published in 1914. The list where I learned about it was OREGON-
L at rootsweb, not this list, and it can be found in the archives of that
list under the date March 2, 2003. It was posted by Earline Wasser, a
member of that list. But, for the benefit of the members of the
"or-roots" list I am posting here the content of the message exactly as
it appeared. Please understand that this is only an index of the book.
