Wanted to put in a good word for the BLM site.  If you find the family you are looking for, it gives you enough information to locate the property.  

They are adding more documents all the time.

  Don't know if any of you have seen this site or not.  I will bet some have but I just received the information on it from a cousin.  I found lots of my folks on it and plan to spend more time snooping around the site soon.  There is some good stuff there and one can even get on-line copies of SOME of the documents.  It is only necessary to type in the surname, not the first name, to get a list of registered people.  Happy hunting!
