[or-roots] Roseland Dance Hall

I am trying to find out information about the Roseland Dance Hall or Ballroom  in Portland during the late 30's and early 40's.  My dad speaks of dancing there, as well as other ballrooms during that time. Omar Borthwick used to "set-up" the dances and I am looking for information on him as well. Omar was born in 1880 so would have been in his 40's during this time.  Julie
