[or-roots] Thanks for info on B & B Complex fires

I just did a comparison of the GNIS map and the fire spread map, and if the Ranger Station is in the Pass,
it has already been hit. If it is at Fish Lake, it looks as though it has been spared.

We will hope so.

Subject: [or-roots] Thanks for info on B & B Complex fires

Many thanks to those who have sent me information on the fires near Sisters. It does look as though the
grave site I'm concerned about may be in the fire's path. I can't tell for sure until I find my good map
of Oregon and figure out exactly where Fish Lake is compared to the maps showing the fire path.

I remember walking down the Old Santiam Wagon Road 2-3 years ago to the grave site and being awed by the
gorgeous old growth forest. What a shame it's burning. I'd like to express my concern and care for those
whose homes are threatened and whose lives are disrupted, even endangered, by these fires. I know my
worry about a grave site is small compared to what many are experiencing.
