Dorothy,
I'm a Powell researching the POWELL that settled in Linn County in the
1850's. Did your Powell's come from the southern states or the northern
ones? Mine came from MA, NY, and OH. Perhaps other points in between along
that route. At least one branch ended up settling in Kansas. I'd like to
hear from you if there is any chance of connections.
