[or-roots] Milliorn Cemetry - an historic cemetery

I am appealing to anyone on this list who might have any information about  
the people listed here who are buried in Milliorn Cemetery in Junction City,  
Oregon.

This cemetery is very close to the edge of what is now High Pass Road  
(slated to be upgraded in 2009). I am putting together as much information as  
possible about those buried there -- real pioneers of Junction City. I am  in the 
process of putting together the history of the cemetery and bios of the  people 
to present to the Planning Commissions and Councils that might be eager  to 
wipe out part of the cemetery to please developers.

Any information and/or clues would be most welcome. Here is what I  know:

BLACHLEY, Della 
    age 4 yrs ???
    listed on the DAR list
    (No other information except there was an Ebenezer  BLACHLEY family who 
came to Oregon with the emigrants of 1854 and are on  censuses for the area in 
1860, 1870 & 1880. But we need information to  connect Della to a family.)

BRYSON, Howard
    3-day-old son of Louis BRYSON and Ruth  DENNISEN
    have copy of Oregon Death Certificate #95 showing  death 9 Mar 1932 and 
burial in 
    Milliorn Cemetery 10 Mar 1932.

BURGESS, George
    May 18, 1841 - 31 Mar 1912
    (Listed in Civil War Soldiers & Sailors System  Search Detail, Company B, 
10 Wisconsin Infantry (Some Junction City history says  he spent time in 
Andersonville Prison; another says Libbey Prison. I can not  find him in either. 
Supposedly he was in prison with a Rev. Skaggs who is  credited for saving his 
life.);  He was living in South Junction Precinct  at the time of the 1910 
Federal census and we have a copy of Oregon State Death  Certificate No. 1051 
showing death 2 Apr 1912 with place of burial Junction  City. 

CARSON, Sarah C.
    d. June 3, 1905, wife of G.M. CARSON

CARSON, Carlie T. 
    d. 23 Dec 1886, son of G.M. & S.C. CARSON
(The family was living in the Junction City Lancaster Precinct at the time  
of the 1880 Federal census. - No further information.)

CHRISTENSEN, Marie
    Nov 4, 1873 - Jun 9, 1912

CHRISTENSEN, Charl
    Aug 26, 1843 - Aug 9, 1910

CHRISTENSEN, Helle
    Apr 13, 1847 - Aug 29, 1902

(Have summary of family history confirming that all three are buried in  
Milliorn Cemetery. Also have photos of Charl & Helle, as well as of  Marie.)

COON, Willard M.
8-day-old son of Mr. and Mrs. John P. COON
(The only information is on the Find A Grave website listed by Arline Poole  
Cox. She found the death information in an early Junction City Times  
newspaper.

DENNISEN, Anna K.
1880-1902
(No further information. Someone leaves new artificial flowers on her grave  
each year.)

FRAYER, George W.
b. Nov 13, 1839 - d. May 27, 1915
(Have copy of Oregon Death Certificate No. 2739, showing burial in Milliorn  
Cemetery)

FRAER, Clarissa May, widow of George FRAER, deceased
b. Jan 12, 1842 - d. 30 Nov 1929
(Have copy of Oregon Death Certificate No. 473, showing burial at Washburne  
& Milliorn, J.C.)

GALE, William James
d. Apr. 4, 1859, age 21 years
This is the oldest stone now standing in the cemetry. No further  information.

GURLEY
(Have only surname here and information from Sons of Union Civil War  
Veterans that he is another Civil War Soldier buried in Milliorn.)

HAMILTON, Thaddeus M.
(Have a pretty good summary of his Civil War Service and his life in this  
area. He is the third Civil War soldier buried in Milliorn Cemetery.)

HAMILTON, William
1836-1905
Have biographical sketch from "Portrait and Biographical Record of  
Willamette Valley, Oregon, 1903 by Chapman Pub. Co. of Chicago. Is he related to  
Thaddeus Hamilton?

HOFFMAN, William W.
d. 1873, son of W.H. & H.H. HOFFMAN
mother was Helen MILLIORN
(The family is living in Junction City Lancaster precinct in the 1880  
Federal Census.)

HOUSTON, William Nevins
    1870-1874 - 4-year-old child

HOUSTON, Amelia Ella
    1864-1879 - 15-year-old child
(I have found no further information on this family.)

LEE, Agnes V.
b. Nov 16, 1877 - d. Jun 16, 1878
daugher of W.S. & Amanda M. Lee 
(I believe this is the W.S. LEE who was a druggist in Junction City and his  
wife. They were living in Junction City Lancaster precinct at the time of the  
1880 Federal Census and W.S. Lee was one of the incorporators in 1893  of the 
Junction City Loan & Savings Bank.)

LUPER, Mary S. (MILLIORN PICKETT)
b. Dec, 10, 1844 - d. Jan. 26, 1880 
wife of James N. LUPER
(James LUPER was a single man, living in Lancaster precinct in 1870 and  
living in the Irving precinct in 1880. She was first married to Wm. G.  PICKETT -- 
nasty divorce.) 

MILES, Emma A. 
d. Jan 1896, wife of Frank MILES, had 4 children

(The only information is on the Find A Grave website listed by Arline Poole  
Cox. She found the death information in an early Junction City Times  
newspaper.

MILLIORN, John 
1804 - 1890

MILLIORN, Mary W. (LEE)
b. 20 Mar 1811 - d. May 5, 1889
The Milliorn Cemetry is on the original Donation Land Claim of John &  Mary 
(LEE) MILLIORN.
This family was very instrumental in the founding and development of  
Junction City.

MILLIORN, John F. 
b. Feb. 7, 1838 - d. Sep. 13, 1899
This is one of the sons of John and Mary MILLIORN.

MORGAN, child of ???
5-year-old child d. Aug 1910
This name was on research papers from the Oregon Genealogical Society. No  
further information.

PICKETT, Wm. G.
b. Jan 15, 1829 - d. Jul. 23, 1899
first husband of Mary S. (MILLIORN) LUPER

PICKETT, Benia
8-month-old child; daughter of Mary S. PICKETT
b. Jan 27, 1861 - d. Oct 15, 1861

PICKETT, Ada T.
d. Aug. 4, 1864, age 1 yr, 10 mo, 22 days
daughter of W.G. & Mary S. PICKETT

PICKETT, Rachel
b. Oct. 12, 1857 - d. Dec 8, 1885
(Have some information to put together on the PICKETT family. G.W. PICKETT  
was one of the founding directors of the Farmers & Merchants Bank May 2,  1893.)

POINDEXTER, D.H.
b. Mar 14, 1818 - d. Jul 14, 1879

POINDEXTER, Elizabeth - wife of D.H. POINDEXTER
b. 13 Jul 1827 - death date not known (Will get death Certificate at Oregon  
Archives)
(Have Federal Census records of the family 1860, 1870 & 1880, as well  as the 
wonderfully written biography of Doctor Harvey POINDEXTER. Just received  
permission from the author last night to use her biographical  information.)

d. 17 Oct 1911
