When I took my first genealogy class the instructor told us to put down everything about us that we wanted to know about our grandparents. Seemed like great advice to me.

Subject: [or-roots] Question about Personal History Writers

  Hi,

I have a question about individuals who write family histories. Awhile back someone mentions a web site <http://www.personalhistorians.org/index.html> and I went there and found nine individuals listed for the greater Portland area. What I am looking for is does anyone have any experiences in this area that they would like to share with either me personally or the group in general.

Here is the list of names I found:

  Howard E. Robinson

  Joella Werlin

  Scott W. Bethel

  Teresa Kao

  Gloria H. Nussbaum

  Richard (Rick) William Slavens

  Paula Slavens

  La Verne Kludsikofsky

  Beverly A. Butterworth.

  Thanks,

  Eugene Melvin
