If it is attached ( and ) you have ( show ) pictures checked in your preferences, then yes it is normal, if you attached it with the paper clip, if you chose ( insert) then it should not be attached.

  To any/all of you knowledgeable people on this list, I have a question?
    When sending a picture e-mail (outlook express), how do I get my pictures to just be in the attachment part and not in the body of the message?? Mine are in both parts...Is this normal ?
