Mark it says that Jesse George was the Grandfather of M C George came from Virginia..then went to Ohio...Jesse's father ws Presley George who was born in Loudoun Co, Virginia and grew to manhood in Ohio...The family of Presley George consisted of eight  children, but five of these died of diphtheria or scarlet fever in Ohio. They then traveled to Mo, there they outfitted with ox-teams and crossed the plains arriving in Linn Co, Ore....then took a donation land claim in Lebanon.

  Name doesn't look familiar, but could be someone in my family. Does it say where he hails from? Possibly Wisconsin?
