Dear Sir,

When you subscribe to any listserv you will get ALL of the mail that is
posted to the group.  If you are unhappy with this,
you have two options, just like the rest of us.  First, you can hit the
"delete" button, and secondly you could unsubscribe to or-roots.
We would hate to have you go, but if you are unhappy that is an option. 
Only you can make the choice that fits your needs.
Myself, I enjoy all of the posts.  I am a beginer at this genealogy, and
I am trying to learn from what I am reading here.  It is an
education within itself.  A lot of history is written among all of us. 
And some of us, like myself, have hit brickwalls, and don't know
where to turn in searching out our elusive andecedents.  
I hope you stay and learn to adjust to the volume of mail this list
produces.  You won't be sorry you did.
