Walt, what route did your family take when they trailed some cattle to San Jose?

  Dan My Hewitt family took a herd of cattle down to San Jose, Ca in the 1880s it took 6 months for the round trip. Someday i will get that book on the computer maybe its in long hand and very hard to read.
