Ray:

You are correct the death index is complete through the 1930 with the "W's". Actually, we have it done through the "Z's" and are working on the next 10 year set, however, the database has a "headache" of some kind and since I can't fix it without my tech it has been in a holding stage. The tech promised me that he would be over "soon" to fix it and at the same time he will set up a new section for the "Oregon BIRTH Index".

I just used the Oregon Death Index las night and it claimed to have all names from 1906 - 1920 and the the names up through the W's (I think) through 1930. It is getting better all the time!

OHHHHHHH, I forgot about the password etc to get off of the list, so guess I will never be able to unsubscribe. It has been so long ago, and about two computers ago.......all that stuff was lost when I had a major computer collapse. No backup, will I ever learn.

Does anyone know how complete the Oregon Death index is after the 1906 time frame?
