On Ancestry.com in the Oregon Marriage Index there are several Dye names in
Coos County:
    James William Dye    1910
    Winifred Dye  1909
    Florence Dye  1913
    Cora Belle Dye   1920

By the way, in the Centennial History of Oregon there is a picture of the
John Messerle family.
