The LDS Family History Libraries all have free access to Ancestry through their computers.  To find a Family History library in your area just go to familysearch.org and look.  They have a listing of each Family History library in the USA.  You have to go to the Family History library to use Ancestry free but the LDS church has worked out a contract with Ancestry to use all the subscription stuff in their Family History libraries.
