Sorry Bob, you can't make a ged.com file unless you have your genealogy on a
genealogy program such as PAF, Family Treemaker, Reunion, etc. If you have
everything in Works/Word you would just have to copy everything either onto a CD
or a small diskette and send by regular mail to whomever you wanted to give
the information.
Some genealogy programs can be downloaded from the net for free - PAF is from
the Latter Day Saints website. These programs are the best way to keep the
genealogy lines straight and are simple to use - most of them. I have only had
experience with PAF and Family Tree Maker (which I prefer) but there are many
other good ones out there. You input your information once and get many
different ways of printing it out or exporting and importing files.
