Jim;
The one thing I forgot to mention is that I found the Tuckers still
apparently in the same house in Elgin in 1900.
I may take another stab at these folks, but probably will just be covering
same ground you have.

Leslie, thank you for all the info. Joseph's father was James Campbell
Cummings and he was born in Tenn., and moved to Ark. Joseph was a young boy
when they moved to Ark. We are not sure if the Tuckers moved to Ark. With
them and Elizabeth and Joseph got married in Ark. Or the Tuckers came later.
Some time in 1878 they all started to OR. And sometime in the 1880's they
disappeared. Like you have found out I have been looking for about five
years for the whereabouts of those two. I have a short history of the area
around Indian Valley, it is a very colorful story on how the little villages
got their names. Well I got to get to bed 4:30 comes early so thanks again
and happy hunting, I'll be watching to see if anyone else knows anything.
Jim
