I guess I will throw in my two bits; Norton is on auto update on my system
and did so a couple of days ago, last night I updated AVG which is a freebie
my ISP recommended I use instead/also, and lo and behold it found a virus on
my system.
I know when I previously updated it (a week or so ago? I hve been more
religious about it lately as virus cycle seems to be getting shorter) it
found nothing, but noron has been zapping 5 - 10 emails a day lately.
As to Verdenna's problme with her lazy bros, I think unless she can convince
them to cut and paste instead of forwarding, she is stuck with the
enclosures. I note some of my kin like to forward stuff and it is always an
attachment. I particularly love the ones that have been forwarded a dozen
times or so. I think that may be AOL's way around the > syndrom, you know
when ten people forward and email and every line reads;
> > > > > > > > > > >The quick brown fox jumped
>o
> > > > > > > > > > > ver the lazy red dog.
I still periodically get a flurry of email where the text is attached as a
notepad attachment, nobody ever explained that one either.
