[or-roots] Soooo Many e-mails?

Today when I opened my mail box I had 81 emails!!!. I had cleared my mail box last night.!!  When I opened these 81 mailings, I found many duplicates and some oldies. All from the orroots list.
Anyone have this problem?  
Any idea why this kind of thing happens?
