What specifically Applegate were you interested in, I believe the web site
Connie posted is for the Applegate home just outside of Yoncalla, if you are
interested in Applegate the community it is down where the biscuit fire was
a while back. That's actually in the area my kin first entered the state, if
I remember right, Great Grand is in the 1860 Census on Slate Creek which is
just over the hill or some such.

Anyway my point is; are you asking an Applegate place or Applegate people
question?
