[or-roots] Rollerskating in Salem, Oregon

Does anyone have  information on rollerskating in Salem during the 40's ?  I am looking for information on the Capitola Skating Rink on Lana Avenue and the old Moon?? Skating Rink that was destroyed in the flood of ? that was  at the foot of the bridge in West Salem.

Any  ideas I don't seem to be finding anything when I do searches - perhaps I am using the wrong search strings.
