[or-roots] Searching for Godfrey/Stevens family

My ggg-grandparents are: Hanson & Lavina (Wickard) Stevens. But Hanson
remarried after Lavina died in Silverton, OR. & remarried Elizabeth Jane
Bentley of Yamhill co., OR. and after he married Elizabeth they both lived
in Yamhill Co. together.

Have to check further, But I believe related through my ggg-grandfather:
Hanson Stevens who married wife # 2 Elizabeth Jane Bentley in Yamhill Co, OR
 They had 2 sons together Lyman & Keithly Stevens, & I think Bessie Mae
Stevens was one of there children or very closely related down one of there
lines. Will be checking more in the mean time & let you know.

Bessie May Stevens was her maiden name.  I'm not sure if she was in Marion
County, Oregon, however it does sound familiar.  She had 2 children, LaVerne
and LaVonne.  She was married to Homer Godfrey.  Any relation to your
Stevens?

I believe she may be in my Stevens family. Was Bessie Mae Stevens in the
Silverton, Marion Co., Oregon.. area?
My Stevens settled there at: Howell's Prairie/Silverton, Marion Co., OR. and
