Interesting...yes, they passed away in Lafayette, OR.  However I don't know when they moved there.  Thank you for your help! If you find anything more, let me know!

        Bessie May Stevens was her maiden name.  I'm not sure if she was in Marion County, Oregon, however it does sound familiar.  She had 2 children, LaVerne and LaVonne.  She was married to Homer Godfrey.  Any relation to your Stevens?

              I believe she may be in my Stevens family. Was Bessie Mae Stevens in the Silverton, Marion Co., Oregon.. area?
