Thank you. I don't believe that any of Henry and Ida's children are there. I have Henry's b.c. saying he was cremated @ Portland Crematorium and Funernal Directors were "Worthy and Co. " @ 92nd St. S.E. Portland. Any suggestions on how to find records like these?
Thanks,

        Hi,
Here is the Cemetery your looking for I think & WoW! Is there lots of Baker family buried here.
It reads the name was changed from Pleasant Hill to Pleasant View, because the name was already in use. Unknown date, when name was changed.

This cemetery was first known as Pleasant Hill but was later changed to Pleasant View when it was discovered that the name was already being used. We do not know at this time when the name was changed.

Pleasant View was established on or before 1866, It was on the DLC of Moses Matthew Baker. On his stone it read "Donated the land for this cemetery May 15, 1886"

The Cemetery is 3 acres in size and has approximately 2500 graves. It is about 4 miles south of Sherwood in the Pleasant Hill district. The cemetery is fenced and has 3 gates, two of which are locked. The west gate is left unlocked. This cemetery is still in use. Some graves (probably earlier than 1866) are not marked, but many pioneers in that area have stones. Mr. Taylor has the Sexton records and they helped to fill in names for the graves without stones.

Can someone tell me about this cemetery and how to find it.
I am trying to find any information re: Ida Ohler born in Kentucky and married to Henry Richmond Baker in Oregon. Ida had 3 daughters 1)Sybil, 2) Esther,3) Louise. I'd like to find the death certificate for Ida. She is listed as living in Portland in 1920 census (widow-head of household) living with daughter Louise Baker and daughter Esther Hamlin/son-in-law Melrose Hamlin.

Sybil married Mark J. Renne and had a son Marc J. Jr. in 1919. She was married to Samuel Bamber when she died in New Jersey in 1953.

Louise married a Lennox and had a daughter "Danny" could be Dannielle. Louise lived in L.A., Calif. and died in 1967. I'm looking for an obit for Louise and I'd like to find her daughter "Danny" info but I have no married name for her.

I have found very little on Esther Baker Hamlin (death obit)

Henry's family left Sherwood and moved to Portland where he was a barber when he died in 1919.
Any help filling in the blanks is appreciated.
