Thanks again Sue.. I have John's info and Johm's Father (Alonzo, Columbus Dye).  Alonzo Columbus was my Grandfather.  
I've Traced that line to Denmark in the 1500s

John Alonzo Dye also filed for a delayed birth certificate, case #2607/48145 in DouglasCounty, born August 2,1899.

Also, if you are interested in ancestry line of John A Dye, you could get the death certificate for his father Alonzo C.Dye which should have his parents' names.  This would be available from State Archives.

I'm having trouble finding information about my aunt Edith Alice Duncan, b abt 1900 +/- 10 years. her husband was Alonza John DYE (or John Alonza DYE) I'm pretty sure they were married in Oregon and I know that he was born in Oregon,  His Father Was Alonzo (Lon) Dye b. abt 1874. In particular I'm trying to find Alice's Maiden name or her father's name and dates.
Anyone help?
