Glen,
    I would be most happy if someone could connect my ancestor,
William Shoemaker, back to where he came from <Grin>.  He was
reportedly born in Ohio of parents who were born in Pennsylvania.
He settled in Douglas County Oregon and most of his children died
in that area.  I don't have any evidence that he was related to
folk from Nebraska or Kansas.
