[or-roots] Stage coach stop in Monroe, OR

Good evening, 

Does anyone have suggestions of how to find the stage couch route and stops along the way. I am interested in any stop that would have been in Monroe, OR.  I know that my gggrandmother and family lived in Monroe, the 1880 census states she runs a boarding house, the 1870 census says her son was a hotelkeeper. How would one go about finding where the property was in Monroe?
