someone was asking or telling stories of the folks who lived on parrott mtn. while going thru some pics i found a goody. 8 x 10 and under this man and his wife it says:[all of his clothes, also tie and suspenders, are home spun. his shoes made by either the wife or her brother". they had 640 acres on parrott mt. near sherwood, ore. they are both buried there.
further down it says: parents of mary jane [tuckness] bonneywho was the wife of wm. edw. bonney
data on the pic is:
parmelia baker b. 3/5/1821 and d. 11/9/1907
W.james tuckness b. 2/3/1826 and d. 1/20/1905.
marriage; 5/4/1846
CAME TO OREGON ON WAGON TRAIN NOV. 1853 FROM MISSOURI]
THE BONNEY THEY SPEAK OF WAS MY GR. GRANDMOTHER'S BROTHER AND HIS WIFE. THE OUTFIT HE IS WEARING IS NOT EXACTLY THE BEST BUT TO HIM I BET IT REALLY WAS SOMETHING
