In the Linn County Marriage Books, Book B, page 296 is the following  listing:
 
Berry, Josephine md. McClane, Samuel M., 10 December 1865
 
This is an extraction originally compiled by Harley & Helen Haskin,  revised 
by Richard Milligan.
 
In the 1905 Oregon State Census of Linn County, Lyons, I find:

McLane, Geo. W., age 35, born Oregon
               Mary E., age 23, born Kansas
               Lula F.,   age 9 mo., born Oregon
               Josephine U., age 58, widow, born Missouri
               Herbert M.  (no age), born Oregon
               Robert C.    (no age), born Oregon
 
 
Hope this helps. Someone mentioned a delayed birth certificate for  Herbert 
Berry McLane - you can order this from the Oregon State  Archives.
