If you already have pictures in the stick down albums remove the pictures as
soon as possible. Some times dental floss in a sawing motion can lift a
picture off the glue. I have a few pictures that I could not get completely
separated from the backing so I cut the backing off as much as possible then
used acid free paper to back it with using a wide margin around the picture.
this helps to reduce the acid affect from affecting other pictures and papers
on the scrapbook page

Yikes - please don't ever use "stick down" pages for anything - photos,
documents, etc. They eventually become permanently adhered and cannot be removed.
And, they are not acid free. The suggestions to use the acid free sheet
protectors is the solution. Buy them in bulk at Costco and use them for
everything. This also saves from having to poke holes in valuable papers as they can
just be slipped into the protectors and then put in a 3-ring album. Mimi
