This is mainly directed at Bob Casebeer, but here in case anyone else is
interested.

Junk shopping in Florence today I ran across "How High the Bounty" by Jessie
Louetta Wright with Lucille M. Catley from SalMagundi enterprises, published
in 1982.

It is Jessies account of her and her husband Perry's life on the North
Umpqua east of Roseburg Oregon. The Wrights came to Oregon in 1878 from
Missouri and the Hatfields arrived in that neck of the woods about 1893 by a
long and winding road.

Perry Jefferson Wright and Jessie Louetta Hatfield were married Jan 6, 1915
and lived out there lives on the North Umpqua.

It seesm to be a very interesting story, she goes into a lot of detail about
the life and some abouot feelings and thoughts of her and her husband etc.
They were involved in Tokatee Dam and he hunted cougar and wolves apparently
for the bounty, hence the title, it has some details on their family
backgrounds though not much date info for his or her parents. It will take
me awhile to read it as it is 470 pages, but if anyone thinks they might
have kin in it they can contact me and I will try to note any interesting
info.
