Les,
I have already visited the 2 in Dayton, Amity and Hopewell. All in one day,
too much walking. I found most of my ancestors that I went looking for.
Took some pix. My next excersion is to Evergreen in McMinnville. I know
for sure there are at least 4 relatives there.
Amity cem is very easy to find. Turn right at the little store and go to
the end of the road.
I am still hoping to get more info from the Yamhill County Gen Soc.

Suzanne;
do you plan on visiting those cememteries? we had a discussion here last
winter about finding the Amity Cemetery which (hopefully) was to help Carla
find her way there. If you need directions I can look up the ones I gave
her.
On that note the following link may have been posted here recently, but I
have never been to this site befor;
1,131 Cemetery Locations Found in Oregon
http://www.lat-long.com/Oregon/Cemetery.html
now admiteddly lat and long isn't much use to a lot of folks, but if you go
to the page that gives that info you can click on a map link that will get
you to the location.
I was hoping to find a listing of folks but suspect I have covered that
ground before with the same results, no luck.
this link has probably been here before too, but it is a list of Yamhill Co.
cemeteries;

sorry not to be of more help.

As I am new to this list, please excuse me if this is something you already
know:
I found printed cemetery listings for Amity, Hopewell, Willamina, Dayton,
and some others in the McMinnville library. I was gonna copy them but found
a notation that they were given to the Yamhill County Historical Society
located in Lafayette. Unfortunately the museum is only open Friday 1-4 and
saturdays 10 - 4. I will be making a trip back out there to see if I can
purchase copies of the cemetery listings.
Of course, if anyone already has these listings, I would like to have a copy
for myself. I will also be looking for a copy of the Evergreen Cemetery in
McMinnville.
I have sofware that enables me to scan and then put into a Word or pdf
format.
thanks for you patience with me
