This is an Idaho library and has several Towell obituaries on page 174 of their collection.  I assume the Alexander Towell on this list is probably an earlier ancestor.  You might get other obituaries you are interested in though.

  That death notice appeared in the Idaho Statesman in Boise, on April 26th
  There is another item on the 29th - possibly an obit but they expect to be paid for it.
