Where did you get this book? I might like to have one for myself or see if I can find it in one of the libraries I search in.

  Dale

P.S. Yes, my Isaac Stearns was in Watertown and Henry Merrit was Scituate. Thanks

there are isaac stearns of watertown. many winchesters. henry merritt is of scituate. edward beck, none. richard silvester m. lydia standlake. lots and lots of torrey's torries. nathan maddox, none. many, many tinkums. a samuel demerest of watertown. no on pierre g. there is 4 volumes to this dictionary of n.e. the pages within each vol. are in alphabetical order, sort of. no index at all. very difficult to read.

Could you check in the Gene. Dictionary of New England for: William Winchester, Henry Merritt, Edward Beck, Moses Simmons, Isaac Stearns, Richard Sylvester, Naomi Torrey, Nathan Maddox, John Greenleaf, Ephraim Tinkum, Sr., Samuel Demarest & Pierre de Garmeaux.

Bet you wish you hadn't offered.

    Thanks,

    Dale

p.s. if you find something in these books that you want a copy of, i can do this. i only ask that you pay 10 cents a copy. no charge for look-ups. i had four boxes of royal gene. and royal houses, mostly of europe, but donated them to the forum when i moved from ore. to az.
