I have a hunch that no Mason will give you a response to this. They guard their symbols and processes very tightly.
My dad was a Mason, my Mom Eastern Star and I was de Moley.

Subject: [or-roots] Masonic symbolism

Anyone out there familiar with the Masonic order?

I visited an historic Masonic Cemetery yesterday where in only three corners of
each family plot was a like planting -- laurel bushes, rose bushes, etc.

The records keeper for the cemetery said that the number 3 was very meaningful
and symbolic to the Masons.

I'd like to know more.
