Ouch!
In 1972 I went out to put my trash cans out for the next day's pickup.  I noticed a neighbor up the street playing his garden hose on a fire in his garage.  There were about 20 people on the other side of the street watching.  I went back into my house and called the fire department.

My call was the only one!

I will admit that although I lived in Linn County for many of my years 1943-1956, I have never heard of Center or Central, OR, before.  I do know a lot about it now.

FWIW: My delete key works wonders.
