    My mom n stepdad worked on several dairies for part time work, one old guy from one of the dairies had a carton of it in the fridge, my mom ask him why he bought it when he had a small dairy - he simple told her for him it was to easy to just buy it rather than try to make it.

  You are all missing the boat!  Buttermilk is delicious served cold covered with salt and coarse ground pepper.
