I have pioneer families too
I need to get off the pot and get involved too.
I read all the books on this.
I have a 1918 printing about it.
How ever as for me, I think most of my family missed the Champoeg meeting that time we became a state. But I will never forget the story behind how it happened <G> I think a lot was learned that day and people still chuckle from the story.

Where do you get these certificates. My granddaughter's father's side of the family has one that signed the petition at Champoeg to make Oregon a state.
