Yes, sounds like the right family,  I am connected to the Bessie Kauffman side, have most of that but just the bd of Harvey Walling, where he was born & died would be helpful.  I show 3 children born in Oregon.

  According to the 1930 census there is a G. Harvey (looks like HARRY) Walling  born in GEORGIA.  age 30.  F. Bessie is 29 and from PA.    2 children  E. Francis,  age7 and  H. Richard age 6 both born in Oregon, and it looks like his FATHER,  C. John 80 years old who was born in N. York.  If this is your family let me know and I will look further.

    I am looking for death date & place of Harvey G. Walling born 12/25/1889 place unknown.
    wife was Bessie Frances Kauffman died 1978 Oregon according to SSDI.  They were married in Multnomah Co, Oregon January 23, 1910.
