I feel like such an idiot, I just spent about an hour trying to find your
obituary at;

by "your" obituary I literally mean yours, not the guy you were looking for.

So when I got ready to report to you I couldn't find him I discovered why I
couldn't find Albert Edward Belanger's obit and went back and tied again;

Kenneth Blanchard Jones, 98, of Westport died Tuesday, June 13, 2006, in
Grays Harbor Community Hospital at Aberdeen.

Arrangements are pending through Whiteside Family Mortuaries in Aberdeen.


Is all they have online, I get the impression that unless the family paid
for an obituary, this is all that would be available.

I was hoping someone has access to local newspapers around Westport, WA, or
Oregon City, who could check to see if there was an obit for the fellow
below.  His grandparents were on the Oregon Trail in 1851 and he just died
while living in Westport on 13 June 2006.  Kenneth Blanchard Jones was born
in 1908 in Oregon City, and built several houses there over the years.  I
spoke with him often and visited him a few years ago in Westport.  It was a
thrill to talk with a fellow who remembers his grandmother, Rebecca Jane
(Race) Blanchard, talking about her trek on the Oregon Trail with her
husband, Joshua Pettingill Blanchard, in 1851!
