Is the Reverand C.M. Hill that you are looking for possibly Reverand
Claiborne Milton Hill?

I've found Claiborne in 1860 at age 3 
CENSUS 1860 Jackson Co. OR; Ashland Twp.; pg. 98; dwelling no. 1135: 

If this is the correct person - I have some more stuff on him, and would
like to know what you have.
