I think your best bet would be to go to your nearest SS office and ask them
how, the link gives you all kinds of info, but I was not clear exactly where
the person with a simple genealogy request wants to go.

My suggestion would be to get the copy of her original Social Security
application.  This should give you information on her maiden name and
parents' names.

I was looking for info on Earl Christner born September 24, 1908 & wife
Evelyn ?? born May 9, 1908.   According to SSDI they died at Lake Oswego,
Oregon.
