Since we've been so slow lately I think Gary had a good idea, so Gary, you
asked for it, one qualifier, on most of these folks I do not know exactly
when they came to Oregon, for example I know great grand Milan Morrel was in
Jackson county in 1860 Census and whole family in Roseburg in 1870 census;
My main line of interest is my mother's parents;
22. Milan Morrell Melvin150,151, born 08 June 1830 in Gerry, Chataqua
County, N.Y.152,153; died 15 November 1894 in Newhall,
Washington154,155,156. He was the son of 44. Joel Melvin and 45. Elizabeth
N. Wisner. He married 23. Mary Elizabeth Tack 31 January 1858 in Crescent
Township, Del Norte Co., California157,158,159.
23. Mary Elizabeth Tack160, born 13 October 1836 in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania161; died 29 January 1910 in Gardiner, Oregon162. She was the
daughter of 46. Sr. Nicholas Tack and 47. Eleanor Megarge.

The big mystery here is how did they come west, as in what route and what
wagon train did they come out by.

was the son of 120. James Webb Wilson and 121. Susan T. A. Shupe. He
married 61. Phoebe Francis Anderson November 1889 in Curry Co., Oregon44.
61. Phoebe Francis Anderson45, born 10 November 1871 in Douglas Co.,
Oregon46. She was the daughter of 122. Daniel Laffette Anderson and 123.
Mary Ann Fitzhugh.
