Hi Les, 

Do you know what year it was that your ggfather came out, and where in 
relation the gold fields Del Norte CO is?   I doubt very much that I can help, but 
my gggrandmother's name was Susannah Glenn (Mrs.) Barnes and she came out in 
1950 (I think) to the fields in Northern CA.  She was a midwife and nurse of 
sorts later on in Prineville OR.  In her obituary it said that she had delivered 
almost everyone in town that was born after she got there.  I haven't looked 
to see what train she was on - guess I should do that.  Good luck - Midge
